The Langlitz Studio
Our Mission
Our ultimate goal is that by encouraging our students to foster a deep respect for acting, they would also begin to foster a deep respect for themselves – an understanding, confidence, and love that is discovered through the craft of acting, and shared with those around them. We aim to provide a space and a curriculum where actors can both explore their artistry safely and imaginatively, while challenging themselves and celebrating their victories. We hope to be a leading training ground for actors in Long Beach, CA and beyond.
Our Story
The Langlitz Studio was newly established in Long Beach, CA in 2023, though its founder, Bryan Langlitz, has been teaching a version of this curriculum in cities across the country for over ten years. Maintaining a fruitful career as an actor and audition coach, Mr. Langlitz began to explore larger classroom environments for his teaching – first with The Broadway Collective, and later with UC Santa Barbara and his LA Actor’s Forum – before discovering a bold collective of artists and students yearning for comprehensive training in Long Beach, CA. Classes at The Langlitz Studio are offered in rolling Six Week Cycles, with Masterclasses and Workshops offered on nights and weekends throughout the year. Private Sessions and Self Tape Services are also offered, and the entire team is led by working professionals, currently pursuing parallel careers in their respective fields.
Bryan Langlitz
Our Founder
As a trained actor, dancer, and creative writer with a BFA in Musical Theatre from the prestigious University of Michigan, Bryan Langlitz brings a playful sense of imagination, movement, and emotional color to his work as an acting coach. His impressive credits span over twenty years of acting professionally -- from tiny summer stock theatres to toe-to-toe scenes with Hollywood legends – and offer his students a plethora of lessons learned on the job. He has had the great joy of watching clients book Broadway shows, series regular television roles, and national commercial campaigns, and has been hailed as a master technician with a gift for “pointing actors true north”. In addition to his work at The Langlitz Studio, he is a guest teaching artist at UC Santa Barbara, husband to songwriter, Sally Eidman, and the father of two sweet kiddos.
